Client Access License, User Access License& Device Access License
- Newer version can be downgraded to older version, but can't be used vice versa. Example: 2008 CAL can be used for 2005 Server, but NOT vice versa.
- Higher version can be used for lower but not vice versa. Example: Enterprise or SBE can be use for Standard Server but NOT vice versa.
